How Quadruple Chow (一色四同順) works
Four identical chows, meaning the same three-tile run in the same suit appearing four times in one hand.
All four sets are the exact same sequence of the same suit, which uses every copy of those three ranks. Because the chows are identical, the pattern inherently contains the structure that Pure Triple Chow and the various double-chow fan describe, so those lower repeating-chow fan are not scored on top of it. It also implies a single-suit grouping for the run tiles involved.
