The site provides a free mahjong scoring calculator and related reference content for personal, non-commercial use. You may use it to score hands, learn the rules, and share hand links. You agree not to misuse the site — for example by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it in any unlawful way.
Provided "as is" — no warranty on scoring accuracy
The site and all calculations are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Mahjong has many regional rule sets and house variations, and scoring conventions differ from table to table and tournament to tournament. We do notwarrant that any score, yaku, fan, faan, tai, shanten count, or wait produced by the calculator is accurate, complete, or appropriate for the rules in use at your table. The calculator is a convenience and a learning aid, not an official ruling. Where the calculator and your house or tournament rules disagree, your table's rules govern.

Intellectual property
The site's design, original text, and software are owned by Valin Studio. Mahjong itself is a public-domain game; the rule sets and terminology referenced are described for educational purposes.

We may update these terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
