How Blessing of Earth (地糊) works

A win achieved by a non-dealer on the dealer's very first discard, before that non-dealer has drawn any tile of their own.

After the dealer makes the opening discard of the hand, if a non-dealer can immediately complete a legal winning hand on that tile, they earn this limit-level bonus. It is the earth counterpart to Blessing of Heaven, which is the dealer's win on their own opening draw. Both are instant-win conditions awarded at the maximum tier.

Good to know
  • Available only to non-dealers, on the dealer's first discard before the winner has drawn.
  • Distinct from Blessing of Heaven, the dealer's self-drawn win on the opening hand.
  • Some tables require the winner to have made no claims beforehand, which the opening-turn timing already guarantees.
