Knitted Straight (組合龍)
147 in one suit, 258 in another, 369 in the third — plus one normal set and a pair to round out the hand.
How Knitted Straight (組合龍) works
A 1-through-9 straight split across the three suits in a fixed knitted pattern, such as 1-4-7 in one suit, 2-5-8 in another, and 3-6-9 in the third.
The nine consecutive numbers are distributed so each suit carries exactly one of the three knitted sequences (1-4-7, 2-5-8, 3-6-9). These nine tiles occupy the space of three sets, with the remaining set and the pair formed normally. The arrangement of these nine tiles is scored as this single fan and not broken into separate chow values.
- •The nine tiles must follow the 1-4-7 / 2-5-8 / 3-6-9 split, one sequence per suit.
- •It spans all three suits, so it cannot be a flush at the same time.
- •The remaining set plus the pair are built from the leftover tiles in the usual way.
Knitted Straight (組合龍) — FAQ
Can two of the knitted sequences share a suit?
No. Each of the three suits must hold exactly one of the 1-4-7, 2-5-8, or 3-6-9 sequences.
Does the assignment of sequences to suits matter?
Any assignment works, as long as the nine numbers are covered once and each suit holds one full knitted sequence.
