Last Tile (最後一張)

4 fan

Winning on the last available copy of a tile (the others are visible in discards or melds).

Example winning hand
Winning tile: 5p

How Last Tile (最後一張) works

Winning on the last available copy of a tile, where the other three are visible to all players.

This is claimed when the winning tile is the fourth and final copy of its kind, with the other three already exposed on the table in melds or discards so everyone can see it is the last one. It rewards completing a hand on a tile no opponent could be holding. The other three copies must be genuinely visible, not merely deduced.

Good to know
  • All three other copies of the winning tile must be face-up and visible before the win.
  • It applies to the specific winning tile, not to other tiles in the hand.
  • It can combine with the way the tile was obtained, such as on a discard or self-draw.

Last Tile (最後一張) — FAQ

What counts as the 'last tile' here?

The winning tile must be the fourth copy, with the other three already visible in melds or the discard pile when the win is declared.

Does it count if I only suspect the other three are gone?

No. The three other copies must actually be exposed and visible on the table, not merely inferred from play.
