How Two Melded Kongs (雙明槓) works
A hand containing two exposed (melded) kongs.
Two of the hand's sets are kongs declared openly from claimed discards rather than concealed in hand. The remaining sets and pair are formed normally. This is the two-kong, exposed-version counterpart to single-kong and concealed-kong fan, and the individual melded-kong values are consolidated into this combined pattern.
Good to know
- •Both kongs are melded (exposed), not concealed.
- •A concealed kong would instead score under the concealed-kong pattern.
- •It captures the presence of two open kongs as one combined fan.
