How One Voided Suit (缺一門) works
The hand uses tiles from only two of the three suits — one suit is completely absent. Worth 1 point.
One Voided Suit (缺一門) rewards a hand that lacks any tiles from one of the three number suits. Honor tiles are irrelevant: a hand of characters, dots and winds still qualifies as long as no bamboo appears. Hands confined to a single suit score Half Flush or Full Flush instead and do not also count this fan.
Good to know
- •Exactly two of the three suits must be present; honors neither help nor hurt.
- •Not counted alongside Half Flush or Full Flush, which use only one suit.
- •Reversible Tiles excludes it, since that tile set can never cover all three suits.
One Voided Suit (缺一門) — FAQ
Does a hand with honor tiles still qualify?
Yes. Only the three number suits matter — the fan checks that exactly one of them is missing.
Why doesn’t a Full Flush hand score One Voided Suit?
A one-suit hand is missing two suits, not one, and its flush fan already prices the suit restriction.
