How Three Suited Terminal Chows (三色雙龍會) works

A hand of 1-2-3 and 7-8-9 chows in two suits with a pair of 5s in the third suit.

It uses the low terminal run and the high terminal run of one suit, the same two runs of a second suit, and a pair of fives in the remaining third suit, covering all three suits in a fixed arrangement. Because the layout is rigid, it inherently contains terminal-chow and mixed-suit relationships, so those component fan are folded in rather than added separately. The pattern is one specific, fully prescribed tile configuration.

Good to know
  • Two suits each supply a 1-2-3 and a 7-8-9 chow; the third suit supplies a pair of 5s.
  • The fixed shape implies its component double-chow and terminal fan.
  • All three suits must be represented exactly as specified.
